Service Description

Coffee Craft 3 introduces baristas to sensory analysis concepts and palate development at the professional level, integrating them with essential filter brewing techniques critical to advanced coffee service. Students will learn to utilize the industry-standard Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Coffee Taster’s Flavor Wheel and Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) Combined Form. Students will also learn to brew pour-over coffee brewing methods at the specialty level. Course Outcomes: Students understand industry-standard sensory analysis principles and tasting notes according to the SCA Flavor Wheel Students understand how to utilize the SCA Flavor Wheel and CVA Combined Form to analyze coffee Students understand the core variables and mechanics of pour-over coffee brewing Students understand how to brew pour-over coffee at specialty standard. Who It’s For: This course is intended for current baristas, cafe leaders, and enthusiasts seeking advanced sensory analysis capabilities. Students without prior sensory analysis training are encouraged to take the Cupping & Sensory Essentials course first. Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing the San Diego Coffee Training Institute. We hope to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Please note the following points regarding bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations: Bookings: To ensure preparedness and optimal experiences for our students, we close bookings 2 days prior to each scheduled class. This allows us to finalize necessary arrangements to ensure the quality of our courses. Rescheduling: We understand that unexpected commitments may emerge, requiring students to reschedule their course with us. While we do our best to accommodate all rescheduling requests, we ask that rescheduling requests are made at least 3 business days in advance to ensure proper accommodation based on current availability. Cancellations: We understand that course cancellations are sometimes a necessity for our students. We ask that cancellations be made at least 5 business days in advance in order to receive a full refund. Please be aware that cancellations after the deadline may not be eligible for refunding and/or rescheduling. No-show: Due to the extensive preparations we take to ensure course quality, no-shows are ineligible for refunding and/or rescheduling.
