Service Description: Coffee Craft 1 introduces the essentials of specialty cafe bar service. Students will gain a foundational understanding of espresso brewing and milk steaming, preparing them to successfully brew core espresso drinks. By emphasizing hands-on, experiential learning, students will rapidly gain capability and confidence to work in a cafe setting. Course Outcomes: Students understand the fundamental variables of brewing espresso. Students understand the relationship between espresso brewing equipment and correct use in a professional setting. Students understand how to calibrate, brew, and troubleshoot espresso. Students will be able to steam milk to specialty cafe standards. Who It’s For: This course is intended for aspiring and new baristas, as well as coffee enthusiasts seeking industry-focused training. Cancellation Policy
Thank you for choosing the San Diego Coffee Training Institute. We hope to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Please note the following points regarding bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations: Bookings: To ensure preparedness and optimal experiences for our students, we close bookings 2 days prior to each scheduled class. This allows us to finalize necessary arrangements to ensure the quality of our courses. Rescheduling: We understand that unexpected commitments may emerge, requiring students to reschedule their course with us. While we do our best to accommodate all rescheduling requests, we ask that rescheduling requests are made at least 3 business days in advance to ensure proper accommodation based on current availability. Cancellations: We understand that course cancellations are sometimes a necessity for our students. We ask that cancellations be made at least 5 business days in advance in order to receive a full refund. Please be aware that cancellations after the deadline may not be eligible for refunding and/or rescheduling. No-show: Due to the extensive preparations we take to ensure course quality, no-shows are ineligible for refunding and/or rescheduling.
