Service Description
The 2 Day Barista Bundle is a comprehensive training experience for people wanting to enter the professional world of coffee. It combines SDCTI’s two professionally focused courses, Intro to Coffee and Barista Foundations. Students will learn and practice foundational skills to thrive and be exposed to the different areas of the coffee industry. This offering is also a way for coffee shop owners and managers to rapidly upskill their teams. Learning Outcomes: Day 1: Students will develop their coffee tasting palettes and capabilities. Students will learn to brew conventional filter brew methods. Students will learn about the origins of coffee and how region affects it. Students will become familiar with the coffee trade from bean to cup. Students will learn about conventional and emerging coffee processing techniques. Students will learn global standards for coffee quality and vocabulary with Specialty Coffee Association resources. Day 2: Students will gain a holistic understanding of the cafe bar, its components, and its interactions. Students will be able to consistently and quickly brew espresso at specialty coffee standards. Students will develop their espresso palettes to ensure quality and resolve extraction errors. Students will be able to steam milk to specialty standards. Students will learn foundational latte art techniques, facilitating individual skills development. Students will learn to integrate hospitality into their skill set. Students will learn to care for bar equipment, ensuring reliable operations.

Cancellation Policy
Thank you for choosing the San Diego Coffee Training Institute. We hope to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Please note the following points regarding bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations: Bookings: To ensure preparedness and optimal experiences for our students, we close bookings 2 days prior to each scheduled class. This allows us to finalize necessary arrangements to ensure the quality of our courses. Rescheduling: We understand that unexpected commitments may emerge, requiring students to reschedule their course with us. While we do our best to accommodate all rescheduling requests, we ask that rescheduling requests are made at least 3 business days in advance to ensure proper accommodation based on current availability. Cancellations: We understand that course cancellations are sometimes a necessity for our students. We ask that cancellations be made at least 5 business days in advance in order to receive a full refund. Please be aware that cancellations after the deadline may not be eligible for refunding and/or rescheduling. No-show: Due to the extensive preparations we take to ensure course quality, no-shows are ineligible for refunding and/or rescheduling.
